Hong Kong, 16 March 2006 - We have been awarded the main contract to build the One Island East by Swire Properties, valued at over HK$2 billion.

The contract is for a 70-storey 1.5 million square feet grade-A office building on the Eastern shore of Hong Kong Island.

The project is scheduled for single-phased completion in March 2008, aided by a pioneering digital project management system which will facilitate collaboration across all disciplines of the development process.

One of the major challenges for this project is the construction of such a super-high rise structure in close proximity with the adjoining commercial and residential buildings.

Environmental friendly methods of construction will be adopted, such as self-climbing form, mini table form and jump lift.

A workforce of nearly 1,100 will be engaged.
