HONG KONG, 24 March 2005 - Gammon continues to make every endeavour in our ongoing promotion of HSE. Following success in the Eco-business Award, we were one of the big winners again at the Considerate Contractors Site Awards Scheme 2004 organized by the Environment, Transport and Works Bureau.

Five of our projects received the Considerate Contractors Awards. They included Nam Wan Tunnel and West Tsing Yi Viaduct, North Tsing Yi Reclamation, Bellagio Phase 2, Disneyland Station and Lok Ma Chau Terminus.

In the “Site Cleanliness and Tidiness Grand Awards” category, Lok Ma Chau Terminus was presented a Bronze award. Disneyland Station and Nam Wan Tunnel were presented Merit Certificates.

Furthermore, both the Nam Wan Tunnel and Lok Ma Chau were honoured with Silver awards at the category of “Outstanding Waste Management Performance Grand Awards”, while Shenzhen Western Corridor received a Bronze award and Disneyland Station got a Merit Certificate.
